Have a question about the Medellin, Colombia Digital Nomad Trip?

How much time will our Community Manager spend with us?

Your Community Manager will spend time with the group during scheduled activities, such as on Days 1 and 2, to get you acclimated, Humpday Dinners, Friday night dinners, and Saturday adventure activities. The rest of the time, you will be left to work and explore the local area at your leisure.

Your Community Manager will help arrange your transportation back to the airport.

Your Community Manager will be accessible via WhatsApp if you have any questions or in the event of an emergency.

Do I need a digital nomad visa to enter Colombia?

No. You will not require a digital nomad visa. Instead, you will receive a tourist visa upon arrival, good for 90 days. Please mark “tourist” on your immigration form.

Where can I take Zoom calls?

Your apartment is equipped with a desk and chair which you can take calls from. For voice calls or informal video calls, you can also find a quiet place near the cafe or outdoor area of the co-working space.

Can I leave my belongings in the co-working space, such as a monitor?

The co-working spaces have “hot desks” and an open floor plan. If you bring a portable monitor, you must return it to your apartment each night when you leave the co-working space. Your apartment is on the same property as the co-working space.

Is laundry service available?

1-bedroom apartments have a built in washer/dryer. The studio apartments have shared laundry machines on each apartment building floor for 10,000 Colombian Pesos per cycle. A wash and dry will cost roughly $4 USD..

Will I have space to prepare my own food?

Yes, you will have a micro-fridge, at least two stove burners, a coffee maker, and a microwave.

How reliable is the internet?

The Wifi is reliable in the co-working space, cafe, and apartment. The apartments have speeds between 100-160Mbs.

We are conveniently located near many cafes with strong Wifi, and we also highly recommend getting a local phone chip with 5G for backup.

We do not assume responsibility for any losses incurred because of outages.

What are the tax implications for me performing work tasks outside the United States?

Please consult your human resources department and accountant if you have concerns.

What is the guest policy, and can I have a visitor?

A visitor is any person who has not registered at the time of check-in as a traveler with Digital Nomad Trips. Visitors have an additional cost of COP 40.000/day, payable directly to the hotel. A maximum of 2 visitors per Suite is allowed by order of the hotel.
